Refreshing and Cleansing Natural Drink Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cucumber, peeled and chopped
  • 1 green apple, cored and chopped
  • 1 small lemon, juiced
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled
  • 10-12 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional, for added fiber)
  • 1 cup cold water or coconut water
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Peel and chop the cucumber and apple. Peel the ginger and cut it into small pieces.
  2. Blend: Add the cucumber, apple, ginger, mint leaves, lemon juice, and water (or coconut water) into a blender.
  3. Blend Until Smooth: Blend all the ingredients until smooth and there are no large chunks.
  4. Strain (Optional): If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the pulp.
  5. Add Chia Seeds (Optional): If you want to boost the fiber content, stir in the chia seeds and let the drink sit for 5-10 minutes, allowing the chia seeds to expand.
  6. Serve Cold: Pour the drink into a glass, add some ice cubes if desired, and enjoy!
