Coffee Flatbread Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee (cooled to room temperature)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or any flour you prefer)
  • A pinch of salt (optional)
  • Oil or butter (for greasing the pan)

Instructions:

  1. Brew the Coffee: Start by brewing a strong cup of coffee. Allow it to cool to room temperature.
  2. Mix the Batter: In a bowl, whisk together the flour and a pinch of salt. Slowly add the coffee, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. You should get a smooth, pourable batter similar to pancake batter. If it’s too thick, add a bit more coffee or water.
  3. Cook the Flatbread: Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil or butter. Pour a ladle of batter into the pan and spread it out thinly, like a crepe.
  4. Cook and Flip: Cook the flatbread for about 1-2 minutes on each side, until it’s golden brown and cooked through. Repeat with the rest of the batter.
  5. Serve: Enjoy as a savory or sweet snack. You can serve it with a drizzle of honey, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or even alongside eggs or vegetables.
